Since its inception in 2016, StartUp Ballymun has become a beacon for entrepreneurs and business owners in Ballymun and North Dublin. With support from the Finglas and Ballymun Office of Dublin City Council, this initiative has organized 12 impactful events, significantly contributing to the local economy by fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and community spirit. In fact the event is the longest running startup event in all of Dublin.

StartUp Ballymun events provide a platform for networking, accessing free business advice, and gaining insights from seasoned entrepreneurs. The events are held at the Civic Centre on Main Street, Ballymun, and are designed to empower business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs by offering:

Recent Event: Rise Up: Innovation Unleashed

This year, StartUp Ballymun presented “Rise Up: Innovation Unleashed” – a FREE business event on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Council Chambers, Civic Centre, Ballymun. The event delivered a unique blend of practical advice and shared experiences, featuring a panel of young entrepreneurs and insights from enterprise partners.

  • James Walsh and Ciara Fahy of Justtip: Winners of the Small Firms Association Emerging Business Award and Gold Winner at the National Startup Awards.
